Mitchell's Book Corner

Okay folks, it's time to get creative in the kitchen! Nantucket Foodie and Mitchell's Book Corner are hosting another 'Nantucket Chronicle Cook-Off.' This one features the island's delectable Nantucket Bay Scallops. We're hoping contestants will think beyond the tried and true standard; scallops wrapped in bacon, and come up with some creative finger foods. Anyone can enter and anyone can attend as a taste-tester, although space is limited. First come, first served. Literally!

To enter, contestants need to register by email no later than Friday December 1st at 5pm. Then, bring a platter of food with at least 25 bite-size items, a copy of the recipe and arrive at Mitchell's by 10:30am sunday. See photos below for inspiration. And yes, a beautiful presentation always makes good food taste better, so go for it!



When: Stroll Sunday, Dec. 2nd at 11am

Where: Mitchell's Book Corner, 54 Main Street (upstairs)
