Science Pubs are Back!
Presented by the Linda Loring Nature Foundation
Hey Nantucket. Do you like science? How about beer? Join The Linda Loring Nature Foundation for the 2016 Science Pub.Building on the success of LLNF Science Pub in 2015, we’re excited to have a second year of great talks by island scientists.
What is science pub?
Hosted by the Linda Loring Nature Foundation, each month a different island scientist will talk about their research in an easy-going, fun, and informative way with plenty of time for questions, comments, and interaction. Learn about cutting-edge topics in science and nature from local experts in an interactive, informal atmosphere where there’s no such thing as a dumb question.
Everyone should have fun at Science Pub, from those completely unfamiliar to self-identified "science geeks". No scientific background required—just bring your curiosity, sense of humor, and appetite for food, drinks, and knowledge! And Wednesdays are wing night at Atlas!
Cost: Free (but we hope you support Atlas with a drink and some food)
